This morning, I found this laying here just this way beside a dumpster.
It struck me with an odd sense of both heartbreak and hope.
I felt the need to snap a picture and jot down these words as they came to mind…
Broken.
Broken pieces.
Broken glass.
Shattered heart.
Shattered past.
Stay awhile.
Take it in.
Then lift yourself.
Begin again.
